CANTON MAYOR THOMAS BERNABEI: A "MASSILLON TIGER" FOR A DAY!

UPDATE:  3:36 PM

LINK to hilarious video of Mayor Bernabei at pre-McKinley/Massillon football game face off breakfast meeting featuring the mayor as a McKinley "wannabe" football player.

From ESPN.COM:

On his Twitter page Monday, Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner wagered a Chicago-style deep-dish pizza and microbrew beer from Chicago if Cleveland wins.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich ... returned the challenge on his Twitter page , promising to send Rauner "fan favorites" if Chicago wins. A Kasich spokeswoman says those would include items such as local beer and ballpark mustard from Cleveland.

Not to be outdone by the governors, the mayors of Canton (Thomas M. Bernabei) and Massillon (Kathy Catazaro-Perry) made their own bet and at last night's Canton City Council meeting the SCPR caught Bernabei paying off on their bet.

Note this CLEVELAND.COM HEADLINE extract:

Here in his own words is Mayor Bernabei describing the bet and words of congratulations to the winning Massillon Tigers and moreover to the players of both teams for putting on a terrific rendition of this year's 127th rendition of the rival.
