DISCUSSION: HAS ANYONE SEEN OR HEARD FROM CONGRESSMAN-ELECT BOCCIERI SINCE NOVEMBER 4TH? WHAT ARE HIS PLANS TO "BAIL-OUT" OHIO & STARK COUNTY?

Governor Ted Strickland is getting desperate these days. Look at this quote from an AP report today:
Strickland said the state is facing an unprecedented economic crisis that will only get worse without direct federal help. (emphasis added) Strickland also flatly ruled out a tax increase, saying it could make things worse under the current conditions.
And as has been reported by area media including the STARK COUNTY POLITICAL REPORT (The Report), Stark County is on "life support," too.

The Report wants Boccieri to start talking about what he is going to do to help out his "adopted county" and the man "who loves [Boccieri] like a brother?"

How about starting with advocating for a revived federal revenue sharing plan, Congressman-elect?

The Report understands that in normal times "freshmen" congressmen are "to be seen but not heard." But these are not normal times. 16th District folks ought to be hearing from our Congressman-elect who said during the campaign against Kirk Schuring that he would be "in the firing line" as to exactly what "in the firing line" means for Stark County, Ashland County, Medina County, and Wayne County and the rest of Ohio.

The Report did not invent the phrase "in the firing line." Look at the accompanying video. Who initiated the talk and created the expectation that he would "hit the ground running?"

You've got it. None other than Congressman-elect John Boccieri.

Yes, he hasn't taken the oath of office yet. But neither has President-elect Barack Obama and moreover he says "we only have one president at a time." Yet he seems to be holding press conference after press conference after press conference which collectively are giving Americans an idea of the direction he is heading.

Stark Countians do not even have a newspaper interview of Boccieri on the specifics that this Congressman-elect has settled on as his initial agenda for making a splash for the 16th Congressional District.

What is holding you up Congressman-elect Boccieri?
